Above is just my school schedule; I still have rehearsals, work, events, personal/social outings, etc. Contemporary Ballet III and PMC I are my personal movement courses. I have taken these classes since I started college. I absolutely love the structure of these classes as well as the content of what I am learning. My creative practices class is my ultimate favorite because I get to learn the production aspects of producing a show (lighting, sound, and costumes). During this class, you get assign a group and a random box. In the box, is an object. Your piece is based off the object. With a huge time restraint, you really learn the in and outs of working with a group of artists. And then of course, I really love taking online courses, especially with my academic classes because what kind of dancer can sit still and listen to someone talk for three hours. Not me. That’s why I have a huge appreciation for online courses! There’s a little sneak peek for what’s to come in the upcoming semester. Bring it on!
