February Post: What have you loved most about your college career so far? People, shows, socially
February is one of my favorite months because people can freely love and compliment each other. In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, there are a few things that I do love about college and I would like to share them with you. Number one: I love my friends that I made on Strutters. There is nothing that makes a better friend then going through stress together. All my Strutter related worries and also my excitement can be shared with them. It is a wonderful feeling. Number two: the opportunities that come along seem so much more important compared to my younger years. Each opportunity I take feels like it takes me one step closer to my dream job: teaching dance. It feels like everything I do is geared to that goal. My time doesn’t ever feel wasted. Number three: I love how diverse this campus is. Seems like Texas State always has a show playing. It might be an art show, or music, or dance, there is always something. One thing I love about a college campus is that there is great and cheap entertainment always nearby.
Now for the shameless complimenting. Dance teachers are the best because they see the beauty in others. Families, pertaining to my own, are wonderful, because they give unconditional love. Friends are people who are loyal no matter what. Pets are excellent at curing sadness. God is good. Finally, happy Valentine’s Day to all!
